We spent Father’s Day in Charlotte, NC with my husband’s family. My sister-in-law called Patrick and let him know that they were going to be in town for the weekend and asked if we wanted to try and come too. Patrick’s other sister ended up making plans to come, too, so we decided that it would be a wonderful opportunity to have a brief family reunion with my husband’s side of the family.

(my handsome man, his sister Kim, his Dad, his sister Karen)
It had been almost 5 years since we had all been together and it was a treat for my father-in-law to have all is kids (and grands) together.

The eldest grandchild is missing in this picture, but it was wonderful to at least have the rest of the clan together for such a special day.
And I have to tell ya, it is VERY difficult to get 6 kids ranging from 20 months to 13 years to stand still and look at the camera.

My kids were the main culprits in “not paying attention”, but these pictures prove how challenging it is to get multiple kids to cooperate for a photo op! I shot about 15 frames (not very many AT ALL) and these were best of the lot, which means you can only image what the other 12 looked like!

Anyway, it was a whirlwind trip but very special nonetheless. It was a VERY special father’s day for all of us in the Moss family!

Melanie,
The pictures are great! Thanks for taking them! It was a memorable weekend!
