Posted on October 24th, 2011 in BabiesI had the pleasure of shooting the Philbrick family last Saturday at the beautiful Tipton Haynes State Park. It was a pleasure seeing this young family love all over each other!!! Again, I LOVE LOVE LOVE baby blue eyes and the last 3 babies I’ve photographed have had the most lovely eyes. And this little guy’s eyes were no exception; they were bright, blue and beautiful.
I am so thankful I was able to have this photo session and it was a BEAUTIFUL day too!!!

I love that my pictures speak more than a thousand words and, as I say again, it’s humbling.
Heather contacted me several weeks ago about having some pictures taken of her sweet little girl. She asked if their dog could come along and I was all for it! Bailey, the dog, was sweet as sugar…and gave me LOTS of her “sugar”

Joshua and Rosanna were some of the first people we meant when we moved to Johnson City 5 years ago and they are still as dear to us as they were then…and even more so. It’s been such fun to watch this family grow, welcoming this little girl into their lives a year ago, and then seeing her bloom into an active little toddler today.

I’ve known the Melvin’s for a little while now and Sarah has been telling me that she’d been wanting some recent pictures and the mini sessions were just the perfect fit for this family.
We had originally planned to have the pictures in Jonesborough, but Sarah graciously reminded me that the Storytelling festival was this weekend. I had thought it was the first weekend of October, but since the 1st was on a Saturday RATHER than a Friday, the festival was this PAST weekend

Jenny and Matt welcomed this sweetie girl to their family about 4 weeks ago. She was born 3 weeks early and was still so tiny and perfect for a newborn session.
